September 2020 Minutes
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL
HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 8 TH SEPTEMBER 2020

Also Present: Mr Peter Bedford, Boston Borough Council, Mr P Skinner, Lincolnshire County Council
Public Forum - There were no members of the public in attendance for the public forum.
2020/48 Apologies
The Parish Clerk advised that apologies for absence (with acceptable reasons) had been received
from Cllr A Quickfall and Cllr M Knowles.
It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED: that the Council note the absences of Cllr A Quickfall
and Cllr M Knowles and approve the reasons given.
2020/49 Police Matters
The following incidents had been reported to the clerk in the absence of PCSO Rayment:
1 x anti-social behaviour – Sea Lane
1 x incident of violence – Mill Lane
1 x traffic offence – Main A52
2 x concerns for safety Watery Lane and Upsall Road
2020/50 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the
Localism Act 2011, and to consider any requests for dispensations.
There were no declarations received
2020/51 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED: that the notes of the meeting held 11th August 2020
be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman
2020/52 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
There was nothing to report from Boston Borough Council and Cllr P Skinner gave a verbal report on
actions from Lincolnshire County Council.
2020/53 Accounts for payment/Finance
The clerk provided acopy of the accounts and up to date bank statement.
Payments
It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED: to accept the payments as per the payment sheet September 09/2020
Payments for September were as follows:
K Stones £80.00 Litter Pick Aug/Sept
Gardens by Greenacre £175.00 Churchyard groundworks ((Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 s.19)
Staff Costs £466.02 Salary/HMRC/Expenses
2020/54 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda
The tree obscuring the streetlight on Brand End Road, which had been reported, had still not been dealt with.
Cllr P Skinner asked the clerk to forward him the letter she had sent to Mr Chapman and he would look into it.
Cllr C Smith stated that nothing had been done regarding the footpath on Brand End Road, this was discussed
and was to be reported again and the details passed to Cllr P Skinner.
The gas cabinet in the Village Hall grounds had still not been made secure – the clerk confirmed she would speak to them again.
2020/55 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 13th October 2020 beginning at 7.30pm.
There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 8.00 pm.
