October 2020 Minutes
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 13th OCTOBER 2020
Present: Councillor: A Gosling – Chairman
Councillor: M Knowles, K Forman, N Donnely, A Quickfall L Pearson
Mrs C Anderton – Clerk of the Council
Also Present: Mr Peter Bedford, Boston Borough Council, Mr P Skinner, Lincolnshire County Council, Mrs J Welbourn, Boston Borough Council
Public Forum: There were no members of the public in attendance for the public forum.
2020/56 Apologies: The Parish Clerk advised that apologies for absence (with acceptable reasons) had been received from Cllr C Smith.
2020/57 Police Matters: The following incidents had been reported to the clerk in the absence of PCSO Rayment:
1 x anti-social behaviour – Brand End Road
1 x incident of criminal damage – Brand End Road
4 x suspicious circumstances – Brand End Road, Tyler Crescent, Church Road and St Andrew Road
2020/58 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, and to consider any requests for dispensations.
There were no declarations received
2020/59 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting:
It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED: that the notes of the meeting held 8 th September 2020 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman
2020/61 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council:
There was nothing to report from Boston Borough Council and Cllr P Skinner gave a verbal report on actions from Lincolnshire County Council and confirmed he would look at the streetlight issue and the footpath issue on Brand End Road.
2020/62 Accounts for payment/Finance:
The clerk provided a copy of the accounts and up to date bank statement.

1. It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED: to accept the payments as per the payment sheet October 10/2020
For retrospective approval paid in September:

Payments for October were as follows:

2020/63 Clerks Report :
An updated report was presented to council
2020/64 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda
There were no matters for discussion relating to Council business however Cllr M Knowles confirmed that The Royal British Legion would not be engaging in door to door canvassing this year due to the Covid-19 restrictions and there would be acts of Remembrance this year in Freiston, Butterwick and Benington to commemorate Armistice Day in place of the usual ceremonies.
2020/65 Date and Time of the next Parish Council
Meeting Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 10th November 2020 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 7.55 pm.
