2021 Parish Council Minutes of Meetings

BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL    

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 11TH May 2021

Present:

Councillor:   A Gosling – Chairman

Councillor:   M Knowles – Vice Chairman

Councillors:   K Forman, C Smith, L Pearson, A Quickfall, N Donnely,

Mrs C Anderton – Clerk of the Council

Also Present:   Peter Bedford, Boston Borough Council, Judith Welbourn, Boston Borough Council, Paul Skinner, Lincolnshire County Council

21/09   To elect a Chairman for the 2021/22 administration period

It was proposed by Cllr K Forman that Cllr Gosling continue in the Chairman position for the next administration period which was seconded by Cllr N Donnely and carried unanimously.

21/10   To receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office of Chairman

The Chairman completed the Acceptance of Office form which was also signed by the clerk.

21/11   To elect a Vice Chairman for the 2021/22 administration period.

It was proposed by Cllr K Forman that Cllr Knowles continue in the Vice Chairman position for the next administration period which was seconded by Cllr N Donnely and carried unanimously.

21/12   Apologies

There were no apologies received as all Councillors were in attendance.

21/13   To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the  Localism Act 2011

There were no interests declared.

2021/14  To Receive a Report from the Police

The clerk confirmed that she had not received a report prior to the meeting.

2021/15 To review and update (if necessary) the asset register

As there were no addition of assets during the year it was not necessary for any updates to be implemented.

2021/16  To receive and approve the notes of the Council meeting held on Tuesday 13th April  2021.

It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 8th December 2020 be approved as a true record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.

Cllr Smith brought to the Council’s attention the issue of the tree obscuring the streetlight on Brand End Road which had been reported on several occasions to Cllr P Skinner and directly to Lincolnshire County Council. She asked that her extreme disappointment of the inaction regarding this matter be recorded in the minutes.
 
2021/17   Finance

It was proposed and agreed to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 05/2021 details below:

2021/18   Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting

Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 8th June 2021 beginning at 7.30pm.

There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 7.45 pm.
