MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 10 AUGUST 2021

Public Forum
There were no members of the public in attendance for the public forum.
2021/37 Apologies
Cllr C Smith gave apologies which were accepted by the Council.
2021/38 Police Matters
The clerk received the following list of incidents prior to the meeting:
Suspicious Circumstances – Mill Lane, Lowfields Lane and School Lane
ASB/Inconsiderate Behaviour – Brand End Road
2021/39 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2021/40 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 6 July 2021 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.
2021/41 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr Peter Bedford gave a verbal report to the council
2021/42 Issues relating to the environment of the Parish
The Chairman confirmed that he had received correspondence regarding the green security fencing on the playing area behind the village hall. After discussions it was agreed the clerk would send a letter to Mr D Trevor requesting that he contact the Village Hall Committee with confirmation of his intentions regarding removal of the fencing.
Cllr A Quickfall reported the overhanging hedges at the Evergreens and the clerk confirmed she would contact LHP to report this. The Chairman and Cllr Forman also highlighted overgrowing hedges at two properties at the junction of Mill Lane and Brand End Road, the clerk confirmed she would send letters to the residents requesting they arrange for the hedges to be brought back within their own boundaries.
2021/43 Finance
It was proposed and agreed to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 07/2021.
2021/44 Councillor Grant Scheme
The details of the Grant Scheme were discussed and it was agreed to complete an application on behalf of the Parish Council to utilise the funding on the Queens Platinum Jubilee Street Party (The Big Lunch) as this would bring the community together in celebration in the wake of the current Covid-19 pandemic.
2021/45 Parish Council Website Maintenance
The clerk gave details of an offer currently being run by LALC whereby the Parish Council Website could be fully maintained for a monthly subscription. Members of the Council agreed unanimously for the clerk to enter onto this scheme and to include this when setting the Precept for the following financial year.
2021/46 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda
There were no matters raised.
2021/47 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 14 September 2021 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 8.00 pm.
