MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 14 DECEMBER 2021

Public Forum
There was one member of the public present who engaged in a discussion with the council regarding the provision of the Speed Watch programme.
2021/86 Apologies
Mr P Bedford, Boston Borough Council had provided his apologies
2021/87 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2021/88 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 09 November 2021 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2021/89 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Mr P Skinner, Lincolnshire County Council provided a verbal report to the council.
2021/90 Issues relating to the environment of the Parish
The Council confirmed the Christmas tree was now in situ.
Mr Knowles stated that he had been asked for approximate numbers for catering at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations to be held in June. It was agreed that the hog roast should be sufficient to provide 300 servings. The Council also discussed entertainments, Mr Knowles confirmed the Five Bells proprietors had indicated that they would also be able to contribute to the celebrations and the provision of a music band was discussed.
The Chairman stated that the STOP sign at the junction of Benington Road/Sea Lane needed addressing as it was loose and Mr Skinner confirmed he had added this issue to FixMyStreet.
Mr Forman stated that he wished to correct a statement he had made in the previous meeting, he added that the school caretaker was not in attendance in a morning to assist with traffic control but was there to report any incidents which occurred. Mr Forman apologied for any confusion which may have been caused.
2021/91 Precept
The clerk presented the budget figures to date with the forecast for the remaining Financial Year. The predicted budget for the FY 2022/23 was also provided to enable the members of the Council to review this before discussing and setting the Precept at the next meeting in January.
2021/92 Finance
It was proposed and agreed to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 12/2021.
2021/93 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda
There were no other matters to discuss or to be added to the next agenda.
2021/94 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 11 January 2021 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 8.32 pm.
