MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2021

Public Forum

There were no members of the public in attendance for the public forum. 

2021/57     Apologies

There were no apologies as all councillors were in attendance 

2021/58    Police Matters

The clerk received the following list of incidents prior to the meeting:

Suspicious Circumstances – Sea Lane and School Lane

ASB/Inconsiderate Behaviour – St Andrew Road

2021/59     Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.

There were no interests declared.

2021/60   Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting

It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 10 August 2021 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.

2021/61   Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council 

Cllr Peter Bedford and Cllr Paul Skinner gave verbal reports to the council

2021/62 Issues relating to the environment of the Parish

The Chairman confirmed that he had received correspondence regarding the green security fencing on the playing area behind the village hall. Mr Bryan Kirkham extended his thanks to the Parish Council and also the Village Hall Committee for acting swiftly in the removal of the goalposts and green fencing.

Cllr A Quickfall reported that the hedges were still overhanging at the Evergreens and the clerk confirmed she would chase LHP to rectify this. The Chairman and Cllr Forman also highlighted that one of the hedges at the junction of Mill Lane and Brand End Road was still not acceptable, the clerk confirmed she would send a letter to the resident requesting they trim this further or a report would be made to Lincolnshire County Council who would invoice the resident directly if they were needed to perform the works.

Cllr Smith stated that the footpath on Brand End Road had still not been addressed, Cllr P Skinner asked the clerk to email details and he would endeavour to chase this up.

2021/63  Finance

It was proposed and agreed to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 08/2021.

2021/64  Councillor Grant Scheme

Further details of the Grant Scheme were discussed and the application was completed and signed.

2021/65  Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda

There were no matters raised.

2021/66    Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting

Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 12 October 2021 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 7.55 pm.
