MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON
                                                             TUESDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2025

Public Forum
There were  no members of the public in attendance.
 
2025/89    Apologies
Apologies were received prior to the meeting from Cllr P Bedford and Cllr D Broughton. Cllr K Forman gave his apologies and also submitted his resignation.
 
2025/90   Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
 
2025/91   Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 09 September 2025 be approved and signed by the Chairman. 
 
2025/92   Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council 
Cllr A Arundell gave a verbal report regarding matters at Lincolnshire County Council and updated members on items which had been raised previously.
 
2025/93   Butterwick Park 
The Chairman reported that part of a tree had blown down and that this was being attended to. It was also reported that the weeds which had started growing through the new path had been sprayed. 
 
2025/94 Bus Provision through the village
The clerk reported that Lincolnshire County Council had confirmed that they were not able to provide a bus stop on the A52 carriageway due to safety concerns and had directed parishioners to use the Call Connect service between bus times through the village.
 
2025/95 To RESOLVE to adopt an official .gov.uk Parish Council email domain and IT policy
The clerk confirmed that she had attended the zoom presentation regarding the new email requirements and it had been suggested that the preferred hosting company would be CloudNext. Members of the council RESOLVED to go ahead with adopting the new .gov.uk email accounts and for CloudNext to host the domain and members RESOLVED to adopt the new IT policy in accordance with Assertion 10 of the 2025/26 AGAR
 
2025/96  Finance 
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 10/2025.
 
2025/97   Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
It was reported that there had been an issue at the Village Hall with members of the church congregation using the car park at the same time as an event was due to take place in the hall. Members of the Village Hall asked if the clerk could ascertain ownership of the car park. The clerk stated she would check with the deeds as the Parish Council are Custodial Trustees.
 
2025/98 Date of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 11 November 2025. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
