MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON
                                                             TUESDAY 09 SEPTEMBER 2025

Also present Mrs C Anderton – Clerk of the Council
Cllr Peter Bedford, Boston Borough Council
Cllr Alistair Arundell, Lincolnshire County Council
 
Public Forum
There were  no members of the public in attendance.
 
2025/80    Apologies
Apologies were received prior to the meeting from Cllr A Quickfall and Cllr D Broughton.
 
2025/81   Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
 
2025/82   Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 12 August 2025 be approved and signed by the Chairman. 
 
2025/83   Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council 
Cllr D Broughton provided an emailed report directly to members.
Cllr P Bedford gave a verbal report.
Cllr A Arundell gave a comprehensive presentation to members of the Council regarding matters at Lincolnshire County Council 
 
2025/84   Butterwick Park 
The Chairman reported that the park inspection had been completed however, there were no items highlighted for immediate attention. It was stated that the bin had been overfull on occasion recently and the clerk confirmed that an additional lift could be requested at any time if necessary. 
 
2025/85 Bus Provision through the village
The clerk confirmed that she had still not received any further communication regarding an alternative site for the bus stop however, she had contacted Brylaine regarding their app and had been advised that this was currently a work in progress with the alternative of the website which was up to date with the timetable information. 
 
2025/86  Finance 
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 09/2025.
 
2025/87   Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
It was reported that the bin outside the shop was split and Cllr Bedford confirmed he would investigate.
The clerk advised that she was attending a zoom presentation regarding the new audit requirements for councillors and staff members to have a dedicated ‘.gov.uk or  .org’ email account and would be able to advise members on what this entailed at the next meeting. She also advised that a new IT policy would need to be adopted and would circulate a copy to members prior to the next meeting.
 
2025/88 Date of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 14 October 2025. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
