MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 11 FEBRUARY 2025

Public Forum
There were no matters for the public forum.
2025/10 Apologies
Apologies were received prior to the meeting from Cllr K Forman and Cllr D Broughton.
2025/11 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2025/12 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 14 January 2025 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2025/13 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner provided a verbal report regarding matters at Lincolnshire CC.
Cllr P Bedford gave a verbal report including the uplift in Council Tax charges in relation to Boston BC (3%) and Witham Fourth IDB (2.5%)
Cllr D Broughton provided a written report which was read to members by the Chairman.
2025/14 Butterwick Park
The Chairman confirmed that the wind turbine light had now been safely removed.
The Chairman also confirmed that he had received a quotation for resurfacing the area of pathway which had been discussed in the previous meeting however, Cllr Smith requested that a further quotation be obtained if possible. The Chairman confirmed he would attempt to contact Peter Vere as requested.
2025/15 Bus Provision through the village
The clerk confirmed that she had met with the Highways Officer to discuss the sighting of the bus stop and the request was now being forwarded to the bus company for review along with the specific co-ordinates and map reference.
2025/16 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 02/2025.
2025/17 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
The clerk suggested that members should think about what questions they though would be appropriate for Richard Tice MP, the clerk suggested various subjects and members agreed to think about these topics prior to the meeting.
2025/18 Date of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 11 February 2025. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
