MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY  8 NOVEMBER 2022

Public Forum

There were no items for the public forum

2022/89     Apologies

Apologies were received from Cllr M Knowles and Cllr P Bedford

2022/90     Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.

There were no interests declared.

2022/91   Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting

It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 11 October 2022 be approved and signed by the Chairman.

2022/92   Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council 

Cllr Paul Skinner gave verbal reports to the council in respect of both Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire County Council matters.

2022/93 Issues relating to the environment of the Parish

Provision of a dog waste bin  

Members of the council RESOLVED to have the dog waste bins located opposite the Public Footpath sign on Brand End Road and adjacent to the large, grassed area on Prince William Drive. The clerk confirmed she would send the Google pinned locations to Cllr P Bedford.

BT Hub

Cllr Donnelly confirmed that the area had still not been cleared. The clerk confirmed she had emailed BT however she would call BT and escalate this matter to the area manager.

Christmas Tree

Cllr Gosling proposed and it was RESOLVED that the Parish Council provide a Christmas Tree on the grassed area opposite the Five Bells public house and to implement this provision annually. 

2022/ 94  Provision of Benches Around the Village

The clerk provided a catalogue detailing various options for the bench which was to be installed in the Village Hall car park. After discussion it was RESOLVED that the brown Vista seat offered by Glasdon would be purchased and installed.

2022/95  Finance

It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 11/2022.

2022/96   Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda

The clerk confirmed that Cllr Knowles had been approached by a number of parishioners enquiring on the Parish Council’s plans to celebrate the coronation of the King. He asked for this item to be added to the next agenda for discussion.

2022/97   Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting

Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 13 December 2022 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
