MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 8 FEBRUARY 2022

2022/10 Apologies
No apologies were received
2022/11 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2022/12 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 11 January 2022 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2022/13 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Mr P Bedford, Boston Borough Council confirmed that the Council were currently involved in setting the budget.
2022/14 Issues relating to the environment of the Parish
Traffic issues
The lorry which had been reported previously had not been causing any further problems.
2022/15 Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Cllr Knowles had received confirmation for the cost of the hog roast – 300 portions @ £675 + VAT and that the start time for serving food would be 12.30 – 1pm in either the Five Bells car park or the Village Hall car park. Cllr Knowles also confirmed that the landlord of the Five Bells pub had been collecting funds and had booked a DJ with a sound system to provide music covering the period 1953 – 2022 at a cost of approx. £400.00. It was RESOLVED that the Parish Council would pick up any shortfall in meeting this cost. Cllr Knowles confirmed that letters would be sent out to parishioners who would be affected by the road closure. It was agreed that posters would be provided by Chris Cook Print advertising the event and a copy of this would be put into the Parish Magazine prior to the event taking place. It was also discussed and RESOLVED that new bunting and decorations be sought and purchased.

2022/17 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 02/2022.
2022/18 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda
The Chairman confirmed that the invoice from T A Blackamore had been received for the annual grass cutting fee and that the costs were to increase by 3% for the 2022/23 year. The Council agreed this was acceptable and fair as it was the first increase which had been applied since the responsibility had been devolved to the Parish.
2022/19 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 8 March 2022 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 7.50 pm.
