BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 10 May 2022

Present:

Councillor:   A Gosling – Chairman
Councillor:   M Knowles – Vice Chairman
Councillor:         K Forman, C Smith, L Pearson, A Quickfall, N Donnely 

Mrs C Anderton – Clerk of the Council

Also Present:   Paul Skinner, Lincolnshire County Council 

2022/40   To elect a Chairman for the 2022/23 administration period

It was proposed by Cllr K Forman that Cllr Gosling continue in the Chairman position for the next administration period which was seconded by Cllr N Donnely and carried unanimously.

2022/41  To receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office of Chairman

The Chairman completed the Acceptance of Office form which was also signed by the clerk.

2022/42  To elect a Vice Chairman for the 2022/23 administration period.

It was proposed by Cllr K Forman that Cllr Knowles continue in the Vice Chairman position for the next administration period which was seconded by Cllr N Donnely and carried unanimously.

2022/43  Apologies

There were no apologies received as all Councillors were in attendance.

2022/44  To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011

There were no interests declared.

2022/45   To receive and approve the notes of the Council meeting held on Tuesday 12th April 2022.

It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 8th December 2020 be approved as a true record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.

2022/46   To review and resolve upon the provision of Insurance

The clerk presented the options for insurance as received from Zurich Insurance for Parish Councils, that being a 5 year, 3 year and 1 year option. It was RESOLVED to accept the 5 year option as this was more cost effective.

2022/47   Finance

a.   It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 05/2021 details

b.   It was RESOLVED to authorise the signing of the AGAR 2021/22 Annual Governance Statement

c.   It was RESOLVED to authorise the signing of the AGAR 2021/22 Accounting Statements

2022/48   Litter Picker vacancy

The clerk confirmed that that there had been no interest received in the vacancy. 

It was discussed and RESOLVED to ask if the remaining litter picker would take up the extra hours available.

2022/50   Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting

Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 14 June 2022 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 7.45 pm.
