MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 12 DECEMBER 2023

There were no members of the public in attendance.
2023/109 Apologies
Apologies were received from Cllr P Bedford and Cllr D Broughton, Boston Borough Council.
2023/110 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2023/111 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 14 November 2023 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2023/112 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner provided a verbal report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.
Cllr D Broughton provided a written report regarding Boston Borough Council updates which was read to members of the council by the Chairman.
2023/113 Butterwick Park
The Chairman had received a call from the contractors EKM, who were concerned that they were now overrunning the time quoted and wished to discuss the additional costs which were being incurred. The clerk sent an email asking members of the council to delegate the responsibility to the Chairman, to engage in discussion with EKM in order to resolve the issue so the project could be completed without further delays. Members of the council RESOLVED unanimously for the Chairman to go ahead with discussions. The Chairman stated that he had not had the opportunity to discuss the situation with the contractor yet but was hoping to contact them as soon as possible.
2023/114 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 12/2023.
2023/115 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
The clerk stated that the Precept would be added for discussions.
2023/116 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 9 January 2024 beginning at 7.30pm.
There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
