MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2023

There were no items for the public forum.
2023/79 Apologies
Apologies were received from Cllr P Bedford, Boston Borough Council and Cllr D Broughton, Boston Borough Council.
2023/80 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2023/81 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 8 August 2023 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2023/82 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner gave a verbal report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.
2023/83 Footway Lighting
Members of the council asked if a copy of the Footway Lighting agreement could be located, the clerk confirmed she would look through the documents provided by the previous clerk.
Members of the council also RESOLVED for the faulty lanterns on the condition report to be replaced.
2023/84 Butterwick Park
The clerk advised that she was still awaiting Veolia to contact in respect of the waste removal provision. The clerk also advised that Zurich had confirmed the park equipment was covered for damage.
2024/85 Litter Picker vacancy
Members of the council discussed the litter picker remuneration and RESOLVED to increase the hourly rate by £2.00. The clerk confirmed that a notice would be put up advertising the position vacated by J Donnelly.
2023/86 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 09/2023.
2023/87 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
Cllr L Pearson stated that she would check on the contents and condition of the village grit bins and provide an update.
2023/88 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 10 October 2023 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Vice Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
