MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 8 AUGUST 2023

There were no items for the public forum.
2023/69 Apologies
Apologies were received from Cllr A Gosling, Cllr D Broughton, Boston Borough Council.
2023/70 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2023/71 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 11 July 2023 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2023/72 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Bedford gave a verbal report on behalf of Boston Borough Council.
Cllr P Skinner gave a verbal report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.
2023/73 Footway Lighting
The clerk confirmed that she had chased Nigel Hall at Boston Borough Council regarding a condition report but had still not received a response. Cllr Bedford stated that he would chase this up.
2023/74 Butterwick Park
The clerk advised that accidental damage cover for the play equipment had been requested and she was awaiting a response.
2024/75 Planning
B/23/0264 : 2no. single-storey dwellings at Land adjacent to The Chestnuts, Main Road, Butterwick, Boston, PE22 0JH
Members of the council RESOLVED to object to this application on the basis that it did not fall withing the scope of the Local Plan or the Local Planning Policy Framework.
2023/76 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 08/2023.
Cllr Smith also presented the hall hire invoice for the school party which members had agreed to fund previously as a donation.
2023/77 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
It was agreed to add the matter of the Litter Picker remuneration to the next agenda.
2023/78 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 12 September 2023 beginning at 7.30pm.
There being no further business to discuss, the Vice Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
