MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 13 JUNE 2023

2023/49 Apologies
There were no apologies received.
2023/50 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2023/51 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 9 May 2023 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2023/52 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner gave a verbal report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.
Cllr D Broughton and Cllr P Bedford gave verbal reports on behalf of Boston Borough Council.
2023/53 Footway Lighting
The Chairman confirmed he had received a quotation for the removal of the trees and shrubs which were impeding the streetlights. Members of the council RESOLVED to accept the quote and for the works to be completed.
The members also asked the clerk to inform Boston BC that when a lamp was broken it was to be replaced with a LED lamp and that a condition report be requested for all the footway lights.
2023/54 To review and adopt the Co-Option Policy
Members of the Council RESOLVED to accept the Co-Option policy effective immediately.
2023/55 To adopt responsibility for Butterwick Park
Members of the Council RESOLVED to adopt responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of Butterwick Park. The clerk confirmed that she would contact Zurich and ask that all the details from the Park Green Project be encompassed within the Parish Council policy effective from 1st July 2023.
2023/56 Parish Council Representative for Butterwick Parish Hall Committee
Members of the Council agreed to defer this until the 2 vacant councillor positions had been filled.
Cllr Smith presented a quote for gravel to be added to the car parking area at the rear of the Village Hall. Members of the Council Resolved to donate 50% towards the cost.
2023/57 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 06/2023.
2023/58 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
There were no matters for discussion or to add additionally to the agenda.
2023/59 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 11 July 2023 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
