MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 09 JANUARY 2024

There were no members of the public in attendance.
2024/01 Apologies
Apologies were received from Cllr D Broughton, Boston Borough Council.
2024/02 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2024/03 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 12 December 2023 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2024/04 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner provided a verbal report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.
Cllr P Bedford provided an update on behalf of Boston Borough Council
2024/05 Butterwick Park
The Chairman confirmed an agreement had been made for Butterwick Parish Council to pay an additional £800.00 to enable the contractor to complete the works.
2024/06 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 01/2024.
Precept
Prior to the meeting the clerk had provided up to date accounts showing expenditure to date and amounts which were to become due prior to the end of the financial year and a budget forecast for expected revenues and expenditure for the 2024/25 financial year. Members of the council discussed the budget and RESOLVED unanimously that the Precept for the 2024/25 remain the same at £30,000.
2024/07 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
There were no further matters raised.
2024/08 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 13 February 2024 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
