MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON
                                                             TUESDAY 10 DECEMBER 2024

Public Forum
There was one member of the public who attended the meeting to receive feedback from Cllr P Skinner on his complaint from the November public forum regarding the issue with the verge along Sea Lane and damage to the verge along Doves Lane however,  Cllr P Skinner did not attend the meeting.

2024/102    Apologies
Apologies were received prior to the meeting from Cllr J Barton, Cllr P Skinner and Cllr P Bedford

2024/103    Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.

2024/104   Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 12 November 2024 be approved and signed by the Chairman. 

2024/105   Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council 
Cllr D Broughton provided a verbal report on behalf of Boston Borough Council.
Cllr P Skinner provided a written report regarding matters at Lincolnshire CC which was circulated to all members prior to the meeting.

2024/106   Butterwick Park 
The Chairman confirmed that he would look into the issue of the worn paint, previously raised by Cllr C Gosling, in the better weather.

2024/107 Bus Provision through the village
The clerk confirmed she had emailed Lincolnshire CC with respect to the bus stop with details of the location on the A52 supported with a map including co-ordinates and was currently waiting for a response.

2024/108  30 and 40mph Speed Limit along Butterwick to Benington Road 
The traffic order was discussed and it was agreed that the 30 mph speed limit needed to be changed to the Benington side of the new housing estate opposite Pearsons Packaging or alternatively for it to be changed to be 30 mph along the whole length of the road to the A52 junction.
Members also asked if it was possible to ask Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership if they could add this location to their traffic speed monitoring along that stretch of the road . The clerk to enquire. 

2024/109  Planning application B/24/0496 Land adjacent to Magnolia Lodge
There were no comments or observations.

2024/110  Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 12/2024.

2024/111   Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
The clerk stated that the budget would need to be discussed in the next meeting to enable setting the precept for the 2025/26 financial year.

2024/112  Date of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 14 January 2025. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
