MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BUTTERWICK PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 12 MARCH 2024

There were no members of the public in attendance.
2024/18 Apologies
Cllr D Broughton gave his apologies.
Cllr C Gosling had forwarded the apologies he had sent prior to the meeting held in February which had not been received in the Parish Councils email inbox at the time. This receipt was noted at the present meeting.
2024/19 Receipt of any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011.
There were no interests declared.
2024/20 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 13 February 2024 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
2024/21 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council and Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner provided a verbal report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.
Cllr P Bedford provided a verbal report on behalf of Boston Borough Council
Cllr D Broughton also provided a written report on behalf of Boston Borough Council
2024/22 Butterwick Park
The Chairman confirmed that due to the ongoing inclement weather the contractor had not been able to complete the painting.
2024/23 Planning
Single storey extension to front at 2, Peter Paine Close, Butterwick, Boston PE22 0HA
There were no comments or objections to record.
2024/24 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 03/2024.
2024/25 Matters for discussion or to be added to the next agenda.
Cllr Bedford confirmed that the issue with the dyke running between Butterwick and Freiston had now been resolved.
Members of the council commented positively on the ongoing works being completed on the Brand End Road footpath.
2024/26 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date and time of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 9 April 2024 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
